Claude Hoffmann is the founder of Learning Ventures, an elite network of senior international
executive coaches dedicated to empowering top leaders at pivotal moments in their careers.
Through transformative learning experiences, Learning Ventures helps C-suite executives ,
senior leaders and Board members expand their leadership impact, navigate complexity, and
drive meaningful change.
Over the past decade, Claude has designed and facilitated high-impact leadership
development programs for top executives at McKinsey & Co, Egon Zehnder International,
WPP plc, La Caisse des Dépôts, L’Occitane, Club Med, eBay, and Gecina for example. . His
coaching and advisory work spans every continent, and he operates fluently in English,
French, and Spanish.
Beyond executive coaching, Claude leads strategic workshops where he seamlessly integrates
business strategy with leadership dynamics. He advises CEOs and their executive teams at
critical inflection points, often in the context of large-scale transformations. His ability to
combine strategic acumen with deep human insight makes him a sought-after partner for
leaders navigating complexity.
Over the years, Claude’s coaching portfolio has included CEOs of high-growth tech
companies, global media and advertising firms, a European real estate powerhouse, a Swiss
private bank, a luxury fashion house, a multinational FMCG company, the senior partner of a
leading law firm, and even a senior religious leader. He has also personally coached
hundreds of executives through his leadership development programs.
A continuous explorer of leadership science, Claude remains at the forefront of his field. His
work is enriched by the latest advances in neuroscience, behavioral economics, and
organizational psychology. During his time in the Harvard/MIT ecosystem (2015–2017), he
developed innovative coaching methodologies that bridge cutting-edge research with
executive practice.
Claude began his career in the non-profit sector, focusing on informal education, before
transitioning to strategy consulting at the Harvard-founded MAC Group (later acquired by
Capgemini), where he spent a decade advising clients and leading consulting businesses. He
then pivoted to leadership development, contributing as a partner at Transformance (France)
and The Exetor Group (USA), before joining Aberkyn (a McKinsey & Co. firm) as a Senior
Affiliate.
Claude holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and an MA in International
Affairs from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of
l’Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and an alumnus of Pearson College
(Vancouver Island, Canada).
He lives in Paris with his wife Isabelle, a respected sociologist. Their daughters, Jessica and
Elianor, are respectively an AI researcher and a quantum physicist—continuing the family’s
tradition of pushing intellectual boundaries.
